There’s some “plastic” in all of us. The flexibility of the requisite VISA® credit card – it sure comes in handy. When used responsibly, it can move you from point A to point B, secure Internet purchases, and even spot you in cash-short situations. And of course, the Loop Card is accepted by merchants worldwide.

And there’s an activist in each of us. A passion to make a difference and inspire. At Albina Community Bank we believe that the most ordinary financial transactions can make an extraordinary impact on our local community. So we’ve created The Loop Card, a VISA® card that makes the loop throughout Portland from your heart, back to your local passion.

At no cost to you, Albina donates 1% of all purchases back to Portland neighborhoods. Just pick your cause:

• Education
• Health/Social Services
• Environment
• The Arts
• Economic Development
  

Does 1% matter? Think of if this way: If every month 1,000 Albina Community Bank Loop Card customers charge $1,000 each, your favorite causes can receive $100,000 dollars a year. That’s a lot of meals for the homeless, books for our schools, affordable housing, trees, and community inspiration!

The Loop Card charges no annual fee (without Scorecard) and also offers an annual fee option with the bank’s Scorecard program, which accrues points towards travel, gifts and rewards from Albina’s Scorecard program. For more information about Albina’s Scorecard program, click here.
