- The last 4 digits of your Social Security Number, (Employer Identification Number if a small business), or your Telephone Banking Password if you are already a user of this service.
- The date of your last deposit.
To Access the first time user login screen:
- On our home page, hover over "Online Banking," "Login," "Personal/Small Business Online Banking," then select "First Time Log In."

You will then be asked to enter the following:
- A "New Access ID" (Case sensitive)
- A "New Password." The new password must be between 6 to 12 characters and must consist of at least 1 alpha, 1 numeric, 1 uppercase, and 1 lower case character. Passwords are case sensitive.
- Confirm the "New Password"
- Click "Submit."
You will be asked to set your security data:
- Enter and confirm your current email address.
- Select an Authentication Phrase for the randomly selected Authentication Image. The Authentication Phrase and Image will be seen by you when you log in. This image and phrase is your verification that you are on the correct Internet banking site.
- Select the three "Security Challenge" questions that you would prefer to be asked during a security challenge, and enter the correct responses as the "Answer."

How do I login if I am an existing user?

You may now enter your Albina Online Banking password and click the "Submit" button. If you have not registered the computer from which you are attempting to log in as a Personal Computer, a security challenge question will display instead of your Authentication Image and Authentication Phrase. When the security challenge question is answered successfully, your image and phrase will be displayed. Your Authentication Image and Phrase will be displayed each time you login; this validates that you are at the correct site. If you do not see the correct image and phrase displayed, do not proceed with the login process – immediately contact Albina Community Bank.
What kind of a password should I select for online banking?
To ensure the security of your online banking account, your password must meet the following requirements; passwords are case sensitive:
- Minimum length of 6 characters.
- Maximum length of 12 characters, at least 1 alpha, 1 numeric, 1 uppercase and 1 lower case character.
What do I do if I want to change my password, nickname, security questions, etc.?
The Options page allows you to edit your personal and security information such as changes to password, security data, account nicknames, and security questions.
What is a security challenge question and why is it required?
Albina is proud to deliver the highest level of security for our Online Banking customers. An additional layer of security is included in our login process to ensure that your information is secure, protecting you from fraud and identity theft. During the first time login process, you will be asked to select three security challenge questions, and provide answers to the questions. Please make sure that you select questions that you can easily remember, but are not well known to others. (The security challenge questions can be changed later using "Options," and are case sensitive). If you attempt to login to your Albina account on a computer that has not been registered as a Personal Computer, you will be asked to answer one of the three security challenge questions. To protect the security of your account information, three incorrect answers, regardless of the timeframe over which this occurs, will result in your account being disabled. For instance, if you answer a security challenge question incorrectly twice on March 25, and then again on May 1, your online banking account will be disabled on May 1; your Albina online banking account must then be enabled by an Albina banker.
What is the difference between a security challenge question and my password? What if I forget my password?
The security challenge question will only be asked if you attempt to login to your online banking account using a computer that has not been registered as a personal computer. The password, however, is required each time you login in to your account. Albina provides a "Forgot Password?" option if you have forgotten your password. Enter your Access ID and click on Forgot Password. If you do not receive a response, check your junk email folder; if you still don't see the forgotten password message from Albina, there may be an issue with the email address that is associated with your online banking account. Please call us so that we can ensure we have your most recent email address on file.
How often do I need to login to my online banking account? Will my account become inactive if I do not login?
Your account will be deactivated if you have not logged in within 90-days. If your account is deactivated, please re-register as a first time user following the instructions provided.
Is there a way for me to determine when I last logged in to my online banking account?
The date of last login will appear on the screen when you first login in to your online banking account; this date is updated each time you login. If the date looks incorrect, please contact us immediately.
How do I know which accounts I can view using online banking? What if an account is not listed?
All accounts associated with your name and Social Security Number, (Employer Identification Number if a small business), will be included in the list of accounts. The account list includes:
- Account Number
- Type of Account (Checking, Overdraft Protection, Savings, Certificate of Deposit and Loans)
- Nickname; Current Balance
- Available Balance
If you have established online Bill Payment services with Albina, you will also see a list of accounts available for this service. If you do not see all of your accounts on this list, please contact an Albina banker for assistance.
My account is held jointly with someone else – how do they gain access to online banking?
Joint account owners can access the account in the same way as the primary owner. All owners will go through the new setup process, using their own Social Security Number, establishing their own password, etc.
I have a small business account that I want to see using online banking; how do I do that?
If you are the business owner, and your name and Social Security Number is linked to the business account on our records, the business account(s) will appear in your list of accounts when you login. You may also establish a separate online banking account for your small business by using the Employer Identification Number of the business during the new user setup process.
What about Bill Payment services – how do I sign up for that?
You can pay your monthly bills from anywhere in the United States with an Internet connection. We recommend that you schedule your Albina bill payments at least 5-7 days before a payment is due to avoid late charges. To establish a bill payment account, log in to Albina's Online Banking system. Select "Bill Payment" from the toolbar; you will be taken through the bill payment enrollment process.

I would like to use the transfer capabilities in online banking; how do I do that?
Are there specific timelines for same day transfers? Albina offers two types of transfers via online banking – Express and Scheduled; additional information on transfers, including cut-off times, appears below.
Express Transfer: The Express Transfer option is used to easily transfer funds from one of your accounts to another. Express transfers are posted and available immediately.
New Scheduled Transfer: The New Scheduled Transfer option is used to schedule a transfer from one of your accounts to another in the future. Scheduled transfers are posted and available on the start date. If you are attempting to make an immediate transfer, please use the Express Transfer option. Once the transfer information is entered and submitted, you must select "OK" for the transfer to be complete.
Cut Off Time for Same Day Transfers: Cut-off time is 5:00 p.m. for Express Transfers to post the same business day. Funds transferred after 5:00 p.m. will post the following business day. For example, if the transfer was submitted at 6:00 p.m. on a Tuesday, the transfer will post on Wednesday. If the transfer is completed at 7:00 p.m. on a Friday night and Monday is a holiday, the transfer will be posted on Tuesday.
Can I change a transfer once it is already set up?
A transfer can be deleted by selecting the "Transfer List" option under "Funds Transfer."
How do I find out specific information about my transactions?
The "Transaction Menu" provides access to your account balances; deposit information; previous account information; transaction searches and image searches. The Transaction Inquiry is separated into seven sections; use the drop down arrow on the Transactions Menu line to make your selection.

What if I want to place a stop payment; how do I do that?
Stop payments can be placed on any item that has not yet been presented for final payment to the bank; stop payment orders are valid for a period of six months. Your account will be assessed a fee for this service; please contact an Albina banker for our most recent Schedule of Fees and Charges or visit our website, www.albinabank.com, for that information. To stop the payment of a check, select the appropriate account under "List of Accounts." When the account information is displayed, click the "Stop Payment" button and select "Add Stop Pay" from the drop-down list. A range of amounts and numbers can be entered along with the payee to narrow the search for the specific stop payment. Click "Submit." A confirmation screen will appear indicating when the transaction occurred and a reference number. To view a current list of stop payments, navigate to the "Stop Payment List" screen from the "Stop Payment Menu".
How do I print in Online Banking?

What is the difference between my Current Balance and Available Balance?
The Current Balance is the amount of money you have in your account not including pending items that have not cleared and less any amount that is on hold. The Available Balance is the actual amount you have in your account that is available for your use and is the full amount that you can withdraw from your account. If you have a hold on your account, funds are not available for any kind of withdrawal (including VISA check card purchases and check clearing.)
What should I do if I suspect fraud on my account?
If you suspect fraud on your account, immediately contact Albina. If the suspected fraud involves your VISA check or credit card, you may block the card at any time by calling 1-800-992-5086 and following the prompts for reporting a lost or stolen card. For follow-up purposes, you can call or visit an Albina office during regular business hours to complete the report.
What if I have additional questions? Albina's online banking system provides a "Help" button at the top of each screen, or you may contact your nearest Albina branch office for more information. Please click here to view Albina's office locations and phone numbers.
